Because you're still a child, especially with that attitude.
You're not legally an adult until 18. Once you hit it, they won't put restrictions on you.

I know how you feel. I'm Hispanic too so when I turned 18 and quickly moved out, it was headlines. Everyone in the family knew in like a few days. And they still bother me.
