If we used TMI then we wouldnt exactly be getting them "legitly" i use this word in the means that theres a difference between "easy" redstone and "cheated" redstone.
This mod allows easier gatering of redstone not just spawning it through TMI.

Not exactly legit if you get redstone dust from a pig. It like trying to achieve bacon by killing fish.
Besides, redstone is so easy to get underground.
