Server Help

Hey all,

Have the Beta cracked 1.7.2 I want to run a server for LOCAL access only on my network. Could anyone please give me a heqads up if this is possible.

Well you can do whitelisting, makes it easy.

And put online false so cracked users can join too

I don't know if this works but type "localhost" on multiplayer without "

or create a server using hamachi and go to options of the server and you can do members can join by approval or something.

I thought I had it with Hamachi, but . . .no. Keep getting kicked before connection. Don't think it is in my router, but can't be sure. Will tinker with a few more settings, if not, I may have to simply say "Bugger" . . .

On the host computer, type localhost. On a separate computer, you shouldn't require port forwarding, but just type your own IP.

Nope, still comes up with Not Logged in: User not premium.

As it "forces" me to choose "offline" as it won't let me "log in" at the start, I think I am flogging a dead horse. Will simply have to wait until I get the full version (when money permits for a disabled pensioner with two teenage kids). Oh well, I will get there.

I had changed the server properties from online=false to online=true, that mad ei ttry to get online.

I simply changed it back and yippee, it now lets me run a server on my LAN and we can all get access.
