ARGH! DAMN DOCTORS!

I gta get some shit off my chest.....

Backstory- I have 5-6 dislocated disks in my back, plus a rare form of Scheuermann’s disease (pronounced 'Shoy-eh-ah-man' though very often mispronounced as 'Sherman') is a self-limiting skeletal disorder of childhood. It is also known as Sherman's Disease, Scheuermann’s kyphosis (since it results in kyphosis), Calvé disease and Juvenile Osteochondrosis of the Spine. It is named after Holger Werfel Scheuermann.Scheuermann's disease describes a condition where the vertebrae grow unevenly with respect to the Sagittal plane; that is, the anterior angle is often greater than the posterior. This uneven growth results the signature "wedging" shape of the vertebrae, causing kyphosis.

I have limitations on things i can do, limited walking, no twisting, no bending..but yet doctors in my state say im too young for disability, too young for narcotics(due to chance of addiction) and the only surgrey for me leaves a 50/50 chance of me never walking again....All they wanna do is hand me a BUNCH of pills and say go home..... I think its going to take me being paralyzed for them to care about a treatment not just pain releif...

i hope, i mean it payed off due to the injury happing at work. got a fat settlement but shit, sometimes money dont help where you need it too... went to a new doc 2 days ago, he did the same, filled me up on pain pills and sent for a new MRI, which showed him like i alrdy stated, 6 dislocated disks. I also have a disk that is pinching a nerve that controls my right leg, meaning every now and then my leg gives out. which, is kinda funny i guess when u see a 6'6 skinny fucker like myself fall,(lol) but yeah, got a SSI court date Aug. 3rd, wish me luck...and thanks for all the respect...

@Nyan, sry to hear about that, just make sure you get more then 1 doctors opinion, because some times they dont think of your best need, they care about they pocket books needs...

close to 3 years now, and i was the same until my daughter was born (2 yrs ago) then it total changed my idea of life and 'giving up ' i was up for a free ride at Ball State Un. for basketball before this happened...that disappeared...but sometimes certain things happen for a reason...if it didnt happen i might of never had my child and never met my wife...

okay, sry for double post but more shit happen to make me wanna kill some doctors...

I got 2 of Indiana's top doctors saying that I have this disease, but yet some clinic dr, who just graduated 3 yrs ago says i only have buldging disks...smh, and he says im not disabled....but...im gettin a 2nd opion and my attorney says that this wont hurt my case against indiana.... soon i will be gettin my 45k settlement and then 800 month after that so i guess it pays to be in pain
