Lmfao, even I can do it it's easy shit. All you need is a screwdriver.

Simply find something that looks like the hard drive on the left.

then remove those two connectors (thin orangy one = sata connector, big flat end one(right next to the sata, *multicolor* = power connector)


Then unscrew it.
Then to install a new one, do the reverse.

is it connected to the optical drive or part of it? and is it screwed onto the pc?

Dude doing this shit is my summer job at UCSD. In the beginning it looks hard but its really easy. Its not screwed into computer just take it out and plug in the wires to new hardrive and ur done......
