If you're a size 8 shoes, you should stick with the size 7.75 or 7.5 deck... but if you plan to have that new board for another 2 years.... then sure get the 8.0

What wheels, bearings and trucks do you use?

Imo it should be based on feel, not necessarily shoe size. My shoes are size 13 and I still love my friends tiny ass Baker board to death. I want to say its smaller than 7.5, but it might not be. I know my darkstar was a 7.5 and I could tell a difference when riding his, but I still think his was shorter.

shoe size is actually a factor considering flip tricks, a bigger sized shoe would need a larger deck so your foot can have good space to balance and landing would be easier.

lol... they do make titanium boiards... or used to... my uncle has one... from like a decade ago... used for vert really.... not looking goood with street llol... metal hitting your shins more than the trucks? ouch!
