Black Ops 'Server is unavailable'

Hey guys.

For about a week and a half, I've been using Catalyst hax and I tried to open Black Ops Mp up and got a message saying server is unavailable blablabla go to callofduty.com/status or whatever and my initial thought was that I was banned. Though when I go into my settings, it says my VAC Status is in 'good standing'. Just want to verify whether I'm banned or not cause I want to make sure before I buy a new copy and I see the same message.

I had this problem too, try verifying integrity files, or checking for updates on steam.. that fixed the problem for me

you could possibly be banned by the game black ops (do to many reports). thats not a vac ban but instead you are banned from the game itself. happened to me on xbox (they just dont want 10th prestige lobbies). but that might not be 100% correct
