Temp folder not showing up?

For some reason the 8-letter folder doesn't show up for me while installing a mod does this work for Windows 7 64 bit?

Did you type %temp% ? You must also remove the gvi and paste an older one so it wil start updating. I think you didnt do that and so it didnt show up. If you did so try to refresh the folder
