I think the only thing it will really decrease is the value of FT. Maybe a little bit of what you're saying, but I don't think they're going to imbalance the modes that terribly. But then again, it IS Nexon...

thats not what i meant

I mean by what used to take a week to level can be done in a couple of days

not fair to the people who worked hard for their rank

its like raising the minimum wage.. if minimum wage is is $5 and it goes up to $7 and lets say you make $10/hr... its almost like you got a pay cut

I know what you're saying, but what Nexon is thinking is this:
People take, on average, a week to get to a specific rank. But those people who consistently play DT, and do it well, can get that same rank in two days. Now, if we even out the experience across all modes, people who prefer, say, Quarantine, given the same amount of dedication to the game as the person playing DT, will achieve the rank at two days as well. Now, that does somewhat downplay the dedication of the people who DT all the time, but for the vast majority of players, it makes it more interesting.

Fuckin wall of text...

TL;DR: Nexon figures equaling rates is better than allowing DT whores to own all the top rankings.
