Why I think Time Travel won't exsist

If you have watched the movie you would pretty much get it. He goes back in time to change stuff, and then his future becomes drastically altered. The point I was making at Jab was that maybe if you did not change such major events than maybe the future would not be altered so much.

Heres what im suggesting, time travel to not affect the time travellers future because his past already happened. And our future is a blank slate.


And this is if my suggestion is invalid, and their future is affected

If you have watched the movie you would pretty much get it. He goes back in time to change stuff, and then his future becomes drastically altered. The point I was making at Jab was that maybe if you did not change such major events than maybe the future would not be altered so much.

I finally understand it lol but this kind of goes back to that book i read. Even a small change (like killing a butterfly) could change something big in the future by creating a chain reaction. Like... A bird that needed to eat the butterfly but couldn't and died, a bear that needed to eat that bird but it died and so on.

The first one is the normal one isn't it? Like... Red line = past, white line = present and I thought the blue line was supposed to be the future or something but it's gone ._.

if its already written, then time travel and a universal calamity is meant to be.
My assumption was that time travel wouldnt affect the time travelers time if he were to return from the past.
