How to fix your low FPS!

Hey, I did this, worked fine for me, I could definitely see a change, I also changed the virtual ram and I think that helped as well,
my only concern is that this makes my car have no engine sound when i drive, I hear nothing from it, only drifting sound
is there any way to fix this?

You must have accidentally changed a value in APBCompat.ini. Try updating your APB Reloaded (or restore your original APBCompat.ini somehow) and follow the instructions again. Other than that, it could be a missing audio file in your installation.

Is there a workaround for the "video card check" that APB implemented sometime recently? I used to play this game on this laptop, with this video card, and now I receive a message saying "your video card does not meet the minimum requirements to play the game" and the game refuses to even load. I went into the APBcompat.ini and looked, and my video card isn't even listed. I tried to cleverly add a line of code to include my video card, but to no avail. Any assistance would be nice.

One quick tip for Nvidea users: Double click icon on tab, look for v-sync, deactivate it permantenly.
Go to game, put low settings, see the fps fly!
