I understand your point of view. If HackShield did not exist, that may be true (the game has its own checks as well).

I, too, can claim that I can accomplish natural, indefinite longevity by myself in science. But our current technology makes this impossible. I shouldn't just ignore this fact.

There is never a time when you should verbosely convert C++ to VB.NET/C#, it completely defeats the purpose of using a higher level language in the first place.
