[Help] Smartphone + water = disaster

I just came back from the swimming pool and holy crap i come out of the water and i found out my Smartphone (Nokia C3) was still in my pocket.

So, hurried myself up to my locker with my stuff starting to dry him up and went home after that.

And i came home, hurrying to the hair-dryer and doing all this dry shit, then my dad notices what i'm doing and he was like : dude wdf?

Thus, i started explaining what had happened and together we broke open my phone to dry every part but without any result, been drying for over half an hour on every possible place that could be filled with water.

So, me tired from the drying putted him back together and no reaction, tried a battery from my sister(has the same phone) but still nothing happens.

Anybody any idea what i could do? I'm soo down

Same thing happened with my blackberry, except I was only in the pool for like 3 seconds, and I still had to have it replaced, I tried cleaning it and left it in the sun but it still never worked. Good thing I was able to upgrade. Sorry bro, but you will probably need to get a new phone or atleast a new battery.

thats what i did too no troll my iphone was in the water so i put it in rice over night next morning it worked but it was only in the pool for about 1 minute so idk about you

Well, myne was about 20minutes, putted it in rice now, gonna go to my bed, hope it works when i wake up, if not i'm screwed.
