    On bytes, most of the time, are the original bytes. Off bytes are normally NOP or the reverse of the ASM instruction.

    thought it was the other way?

    Original bytes are means its functioning "normal"; e.g. recoil on and functioning

    NOP'd bytes means its no longer functioning; e.g. recoil off
