I am 19 years old (20 in October) and I am, at the moment, a teacher for a nice, professional but small training provider. Basically I go out and teach people in all sorts of categories from IT all the way to Team Leading and Management. I love what I do at the moment and I was very lucky the way I came into the teaching sector and my employers have invested a hell of a lot of time and money in developing my abilities and I don't want to throw it back in their faces. When I am teaching I get to meet a very diverse group of people, each of which have their own abilities and skills. I get on with all of the people I teach and I enjoy meeting new people every day.

This reminds of those IT commercials that I hear on tv.

I may not be from the generation u say, but I read the post and my reply is: Stay with theaching, u have a better life, risk of dying is basicly inexistent, u can spend time with friends and family and its way more calm than army. Less stress u know. I would choose to stay (call me a coward if u want, even fancying going to the army. But, naturally, its all up to you.

Bitch, Do what you want to do. Its not like you have another life and you are gonna fulfill your wish at that time, no matter what you do everyone parts with their family at a certain point so there is no harm in joining the army. Bring pride to your nation bring pride to your bro . Fuck the whole universe @Lost Soul .

If I Were You,I Would Just Keep Working As A Teacher. You Would Be Living In A World Full of Blood,War,and Death.Watching Your Comrades Die,You Could Even Kill A Guy With A Family and A Special Lady Waiting For Him To Return,If You Die In Battle,What Will Your Family React? And How Heartbroken The Your Special Lady Would Be?

Most cases of people returning from war end up with a mental disease, sure it may be fun being in an army, but what else could you have been doing if you weren't in the army.

My family has payed tons of money in the past recent years for me to study and learn computer programming. I hated it. They just wanted me to make good money.

My real passion is in music. So recently I just stuck up for myself and said no more nerd shit tech schools. I know music industry is risky business but I went ahead and decided to go to college for a Bachelor in Music Production & Recording Engineering.

Sometimes, you should just do what you love and not care about what others think.

And just because you join the Military, doesn't mean you will go to war.

My uncle's bestfriend was in the Navy for 15 years and all he did was build Submarines.

Now he lives in Hawaii with a hot ass wife and builds cruise ships for a living.

Many people say yes and many people say no. At least everyone has had a valuable input, I will bare it all in mind when I make my decision.
