to be honest, no, he has a lot of work to do before he even considers joining the graphics team, and instead of adding my 2cents and leaving it, i'll back myself up

Depth: as thin as a piece of paper, the only one that has relatively any depth would be this one, and the amount is has is very small


Colors: very bland, so he attemps to cover them up with heavy gradient maps that look just terrible, the most noticable are these:



Text: not fitting, font is bad, and bad placement on every one

Flow: absolutly nothing assists the render in giving the signature flow, it looks like a recycled bg with random C4Ds thrown in

Effects: see above, also there is little or no blending between the render and bg, the effects are unappealing

Borders: all or most are 1px monotone borders, and despite what many people believe, boarders do matter

Lighting: nonexistant sources, bg and render are inconsistent

Additional notes: some have a bad case of FHS (Floating head syndrome), also the diagonal lines in the middle three are not only annoying, but a huge flow breaker

Final thoughts: you would be lucky to receive low/solid nov on a professional forum

Very true Candlejack, though the ones you pointed out were my 6th, 8th and 10th (respectively) that I ever made in Photoshop, and I probably followed a tutorial for them as well. My latest creations are obviously my greatest, though not listed by the original poster. Also, I probably wouldn't be rated very high on a professional forum, but MPGH is not of the sorts and so needs GFX members that can make good sigs (for now).
