I have a suggestion to bypass the whole monster designs with skills and all.

Making this sort of game, you'd have a community behind you, all of us could make a MPGHmon representative of ourselves very easy.
All people would need are templates, like, telling people that they need to make a front and back 2D representation of their mpghmon which is 150x150 pixels big with transparancy of course, define a name for it, give it an element (maybe forum section?), and skills. The skills should also use a template to make balanced mpghmons etc. as for example, your allowed to invent 5 skills per mpghmon, but only 3 which does damage, 1 buff/debuff and misc ones.
the damage ones will by a total do 6dmg all together, which means you have to decide for maybe 1 of them to do 1dmg, other to do 2, and last to do 3dmg (lvl 1) and then the spells will excell with 1.1xdmg per lvl of the mpghmon, just as an example, im sure something much more clever could be thought of.

Another idea is to let people make random spells, including the graphics for them, and then you decide which mpghmon gets which spells. (safer way to avoid Overpowerd mpghmons.

Now of course everyone would have to do this for every evolution of their mpghmon.

Im gonna make an example of how a submission like this would look like:

NOTE: I probably forgot a bunch of crap in the template thing, its only an example.

Now I wonder, if every single mpghian which was intrested in making their own mpghmon would (or ask for help in the gfx section for graphics), wouldnt you have saves shitloads of work?

I'm obviously not a programmer, so i wonder, how much work will be left to do?

And if this project never will be made, well I had fun making my mpghmon anyways
