At least on consoles, on PC, the last few CoD games have been sort of a disappointment with all the lag, no dedicated servers, BF is more in favor.

On consoles, you are almost undoubtedly correct, good news for EA is: If Battlefield 3 is a breakout success like it's projected and MW3 is a failure, then the next game should break ahead.

They're in a good spot, and Activision is pretty much cornered.
