Election '08 and why it's fail.

At this point, America is fucked. It's clear that Obama is going to win, and I'm sure everyone knows that. Now, I am not racist in any way, but Obama cannot be president unless he corrects his Tax Plan. Obama is planning on taxing everybody (including businesses) in different ways. Over 250k, you get taxed 15%+ more. Under 250k, you get taxed less. Now ideally, this is great. But for small businesses this is bad, and small businesses are 65% of Americas jobs. if a person make 300k a year, they're fine, after all costs, they still get 200k of it. If a business makes 300k a year, the owner is lucky if he says 80k of it. So if you increase taxes by 15-30%, most small businesses in the 250k to 500k movement range the owner will have to live off of 10k or so, which he won't be able to do. Or he'll cut expenses. He has to pay rent, he has to replace his product that he sells, and he has to pay taxes. So he cuts labor, and hours. People lose jobs. They pay less taxes but they don't have a job so what the fuck does it matter? Hello socialism, hello depression. Everyone is ignoring this.

McCain is going to cut taxes for everyone, not including businesses. McCain is lowering taxes for everyone. Obama is only lowering for under 250k, and he's raising for over. With lower taxes businesses can afford more labor and that labor goes more to the people because the people get taxed less too. Everybodys happy. So while it doesn't do a lot to induce our debt, McCain is going to cut more spending than Obama, and at least it's a big setback to a depression and sets us on the road to recovery. Because, we can't worry about the national debt, until our people are surviving. The country is nothing without the people, so we need to put them first, and Obama is ignoring that. He's just thinking of quick numbers that make people think they're happy until they see the consequences.

Bottom line?
McCain doesn't have a lot to offer but Obama only offers socialism and unemployment increases. So McCain sucks and Obama sucks way worse. This has to be the worst election we've had in like 80 years. The sad part of all this is that I'm 15 and I'm recognizing the "glitches" in these plans and realize that if Obama doesn't fix his plan, we're headed towards depression. And McCain sucks other than his tax plan. What do you guys think?

Let's rethink this again. I didn't read your entire post, just the first paragraph.

Taxing $250,000+ earning people != depression.

I could go into detail, but simply offering tax cuts to people who create jobs HERE in America rather that overseas speaks for itself.

In case you didn't get it, it offsets the percentage increase in taxes depending on how many locally hired workers you hire. And I'm pretty sure this "$250k" factor is PERSONAL gains. It's true however, that over the long run that it might slow economic growth.

However, I think there are more pressing issues.
Especially if these so called top tier earners can't get loans to finance their small businesses.
