I think that summarizes it. When our brain dies (we die) there's no sense of self, no thought, no dreaming, it all just stops. Have you ever fallen asleep, and woken up several hours later, but you think its only been just a few minutes. That feeling, that vast nothing, that you can't remember after you wake up. That's what I think its death, except, you never wake up.

I think the whole "Heaven and Hell" thing just seems like the epilogue of every fantasy novel I've ever read,
I don't personally believe either of them exist , but cool story none the less.
I think if there is any kind of after life, (Which I am very skeptical about) we would have no clue of our prior existence.
We either just burn out like a candle, or our energy escapes us and slipstreams through the atmosphere.
