I think that summarizes it. When our brain dies (we die) there's no sense of self, no thought, no dreaming, it all just stops. Have you ever fallen asleep, and woken up several hours later, but you think its only been just a few minutes. That feeling, that vast nothing, that you can't remember after you wake up. That's what I think its death, except, you never wake up.

Well I'm a Christian so obviously Heaven.

I recently talked to someone who died and got revived. He said that when he died he knew he was dead, but still had some level of consciousness. He described it as if he was falling onto a bed of feathers. In this state he told me that he didn't actually want to come back since it was so enjoyable. He actually had to think of a reason to come back and all he could think was about how worried the nurse that was taking care of him was (he died twice). Each time he had the same experience. I talked to some others that confirmed he died and that he wasn't just making it up. So this just shows me there is something that happens to you after you die.

@Liz Almost exactly what I feel but every time I think about it I just get chills and start shaking. It's freaking insane. And what about those near-death experiences and shit people talk about... And there's been some research that when a person dies, they lose 21 gram, and a scientist thinks it's their soul that dissapears. And in each person it's the same weight loss!

the 21 gram weight loss thing is most likely brain deterioration when we die.
