Well, you need a few things to host a website:
A domain name, a hoster (someone to keep your files in a server), and the files that make up the website.
What kind of website did you want to make? Because it isn't easy.
It's not like you can just say "LOL MAKE ME COOL WEBSITE WITH SKULLZ" and you'll instantly get a good-looking website out of nowhere. You need to know at least SOME basics of HTML and CSS.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should do more research before even thinking about buying shit from a host.

Also, don't bother getting vB for a while.
A much better alternative is IP-B. It's a lot like vB, just not vB.
