Anyways @master131 : The download isn't malicious. The packing on the executable is tripping up all the lame antivirus programs. If you read the detection, most of them only claim obfuscator or something generic because they mark all exe's packed a certain way. For example with Microsoft Security Essentials, it's marked as VirTool:Win32/Obfuscator.XZ which means it's just an obfuscated Windows program and doesn't seem legit. The same ways used to packed viruses were used to pack this release so the aIW admins won't ban it as easily.

No, the last packed releases (v2.0.4) tripped 25 of the 44 AV's on VirusTotal. Depends on type of packing, for example, UPX packing won't trip anything (or should I say, any AV that isn't a piece of shit and marks anything but a .txt file as a trojan). Start running up the old MEW packer and you'll see more red alerts than a guy walking through airport security with a circuit board on his chest.

No. The offsets have not changed except for the opcode used in one of the no-recoil locations just recently. The other offsets have not changed in any of the last few updates. The author of the hack just alters the hack just enough so the aCI detection fails at detecting it. Moving the offsets don't do much to stop hacks, takes me about 2 minutes (literally) to do a dump of all the offset locations (5 if I do it manually). Besides, any reputable coder that encounters shifting offsets would use sigs instead of offset locations in his hacks.

No it doesnt. There can be loads of reasons why it crashes one of them could be wrong offsets
