An improvement but I' not so sure about mixing anime like Toradora and Angel Beats. Again, you used the subs ==. And also, if you're looking for a theme, you should go for a darker theme rather than love (depending on the music of course). But that's just my opinion. If you're going to use different anime, try to use the same sort of style. E.g. Sword fighting or hand to hand combat. Definitely too short. I can see you put a lot of time into editing so i know it will probably be tough to make a long one. But try to make something more than 1 minute even if it does take a while because it will be worth it. Your choice of music was good but I think your choice of anime let you down. Other than that, you did a good job with editing and stuff.

The editing was a bit less and effective, I'm not sure if I should upload it yet though, its finished.
Maybe you'd like to watch it first and give me your opinion?
I'm not as happy with the transitions and effects with my ttgl than I am with this one right now.

But my ttgl one is 3 minutes long, ;3
Apart from the fact its got clean footage from the anime in it though.

Its got subs this time as well, but thats because it has jap audio (On purpose)

Also, the ending scene has pure english dub and footage, should I keep that even though 3/4 of my video is jap with sub?

Or revert the ending to jap audio.

If you use the audio from the video, use the jap footage. But either way, you shouldn't be using too much footage where they are actually speaking if you're using an anime like gurren lagann anyway. So if they're just saying a phrase or something, it shouldn't matter if they are subbed or not as long as you don't have the same phrase being subbed in one part of the video and raw in another. DON'T USE ENG AUDIO IF YOU ARE INCORPORATING THEIR VOICES IN THE VIDEO THOUGH.

If your gonna do techno, do a short amv. Long amv's REALLY bring out the repetitiveness of techno. In all honesty techno should be saved for either opening or closing.

Your main problem is that you can't relate the songs to anything. They have no theme, they are just sounds. To be frank its ok for some amvs, but the amvs themselves have to express the theme well.

:/ Watch anime, notice HQ scenes. Its safe to say naruto, bleach(cept grimjow fight), and one piece(cept strong world), have pretty much no real HQ scenes.

But you can still use them if you want, the real thing holding you down is that after 30 secs or so its not even near the same quality. The first 30 secs are decent though.

Here is a Gurren Lagaan Amv that recently came out. But its not techno. Techno amv's NEED hq scenes. You can't do a techno amv with anime that span 200+ episodes, since the given quality of even the "HQ" scenes is pretty low.


^though i was surprised, usually people can't sync words with anime words.

last but not least: Remember the theme of your anime. Gurren lagaan amv's should be uplifting in general.

having a techno mashup is ok, but dubstep on average is themeless sounds put together. Techno on the other hand can work better, i still prefer rock amv's though.
