im gonna start posting a new flame erry week.

Topic: Banjo & Kazooie : Nuts and Bolts

Fuck you rare. boy did you fuck up this time. I thought you made a mistake when you took out the great N64 multiplayer of Conkers Bad Fur Day with the new crap in the remake for the xbox. BUT THIS?! you screwed up big time. then new game is fun, but ITS NOT BANJO AND KAZOOIE. WTF, 80% of the game is in vehicles... not hitting baddies with your arsenal of attacks, you get to run people over and do some drive-by shootings.

here is the story that has unfolded for me:

Couple years ago a promo for the new banjo kazooie game shows, fan boys like myself go NUTS. The promo was awesome, all the elements from the last 2 games were there. Granted, the style of modeling was kinda.. odd, but its BANJO FUCKING KAZOOIE! Fast forward a year or two, most people have almost forgot about the game and then rare relases the story:

"L.O.G. transports the other characters to Showdown Town, his headquarters, and starts the contest. The winner would be set to own Spiral Mountain; the loser must endure eternal hardship at L.O.G.'s video game factory. While Banjo and Kazooie seek to win by completing the challenges, Grunty uses her powers and abilities to try and stop the duo."

what the hell... the game is to see who can win the most games to be the fucking landlord? YOU ARN'T EVEN FUCKING FIGHTING GRUNTY, YOUR COMPETING AGAINST HER! and guess what else? its NOT EVEN AT SPIRAL MOUNTAIN!

3 more months, my anger has cooled. rare announces:

"80% of the game will be based around vehicle building"

... fuck you rare, its not even banjo kazooie anymore, you fucked up soooo hard, you shouldn't even be able to stick that name on this game.

so we go from a great promo to a disappointing release.

HERE IS WHAT RARE SHOULD DO:

Call the game a "spin-off" and then make the game as it should be, against grunty, start at spiral mountain and stay the FUCK away from vehicles EXCEPT the occasional transformation at wumbas hut. Keep the same graphics, a banjo game with HD graphics would be weird... i hope you bastards read this and decide to THINK before you rape another one of my favorite Nintendo memories

I am right on with you, this time, yourity. I was a HUGE fan of Banjo Kazooie and one day, a new commercial: OMG BANJO KAZOOIE! WTF?
Then I go to the damn site and they'r etelling me all this shit and I'm like, wtf? I don't wanna own no freaking land! I wanna punch evil Jujus and spit flame through a bird in my backpack! I don't want to go and build a fucking vehicle and ride around all day! HELL NO! I'm gonna go rape everyone associated!
