Rules dispute w/ name change

Whilst looking to change my own; I noticed that the forum section says that 1000 post are needed to change one's name/tag/whatev... BUT the newly remodeled rules state: "You need at least 500 posts for a text title change.
Title changes can be requested every 500 posts."

Just saying for the knowledge of the higher order. But since I /me found this error I think i should be able to change my name early

Ok, just realized i might have been reading something wrong...
