The sticky on aiw forums said that There is no way you could play aiw2 on xp and MAYBE never will .
It's because the new XUID generating system in aIW2 (that will get replaced before the real release so don't bother) doesn't work with XP.
But, maybe you shouldn't cry about not being able to do stuff on a 10 year old OS..
It's incredible how peeps still use that OS. It's slow, old and very very bad designed. So why dont you just get a Windows 7?
kinda funny considering the massive amount of problems with win 7 and vista compared to xp, especially in gaming
i own legal copies of vista and win 7, both r trash, i use win 7 on my "retailer" computer for browsing and what not and its good, but theres no way id install either on my gaming rig considering the vast amount of problems connected, ive done alot of tech support for win 7 users having problems with games, anything from not being able to connect for longer then a few mins to black screens to symbols in the top right corner spamming..all of which were for the most part simple to fix just by editing the uac or dep, some things weren't solveable such as a boarder being in full screen..
overall i consider win 7 trash for gaming considering the current state of compatibility issues, not to mention the video codec issues that plague win 7 aswell, for peeps who are savvy at computers its rly not a big deal to fix it but lets face it most people are not savvy or just generally don't want to try to find a fix or edit settings themselves
microsoft is releasing operating systems at the same rate CoD games are being released, one per year..for most part
Vista - > 7 - > 8..all within 3 yrs? no wonder theres so many issues..eventually companies will force people to move to the new OS's for gaming, BF3 seems to be leading the way on that..its disappointing that aIW is releasing an update that does not support XP but its not a huge loss considering the amount of games coming out within the next 6 months..plenty of things to occupy users and all of them support XP aside from BF3, MW2 with servers was fun but its not like i'm gonna go crazy without aIW
XP is actually realy great but it is old now..
@Elio
What are you saying?
If you actually use your brain, you would know that XP is a crap load of tons faster
Wins 7 / Vista always gotta load the "fancy shmauncy" designs. The "designs" that make it look more smoother. And then the other stuff.
On the other hand, XP, all it has to do is just load a toolbar, desktop, etc.

I even seen they used XP for 3D-Printer softwares.
I suppose it's easier to make programs for XP then vista and w7?
I don't really know. But There is sure a reason why so many programmers stick to XP.
