aIW = the original version without a real security system..
aIW2 = Improved security and banning, custom maps, you can download files from dedicated servers cod 4 style and a lot more.. it's just a pre-release beta..

Recomend u dont play aIw, lots of hackers + the admins aren't that great + mods/admins ban legit players...might as well keep with steam version

No you dont have to register an account
and you can put any name , if you put aIW| infront you'll copy staff and will get banned..
