URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hey people, I have reformated my laptop yesterday (I went from 7 to vista). Today I have redownloaded windows 7 and I mounted an image and installed it. Everything was fine, at the end I have set settings (time, ..) and then my laptop restarted.

After that I can't get to login screen, I always go in safe mode and I get that "Windows is loading files" screen.

Then, I get to that silver gradient background restore thing and all I see there is big red text, saying ERROR.

What am I supposed to do? PLEASE!

P.S. I have restarted computer for like 10times, I always go there.

It takes you five hours to reformat your hard drive? I'm thinking you need a new laptop man, it takes me 30 minutes max to reformat my entire terabyte drive when it's full.


I would suggest going on another computer, getting another copy of Windows 7 and burning it to the disc, then go ahead and reformat your laptop again with the fresh installation disc.


Another option is to put in the original installation disc for Windows 7 if you have it, boot it up, and repair your Windows system Files.

Put in Win7 CD, load the repair console and use sfc /scannow to scan for corrupt system files

And no, I don't have it on CD (too small) nor on DVD (It just dont want to burn, somehow)

Sorry, dont think you can do anything without a CD/DVD if Windows isnt loading

Do you have an external hard drive you can put the installation on? Or even a large flash drive? Anything that's external will do, because as said above you can't really do anything at this point without an installation disc.

Dunno, never had any issues like that. I always install my Windows OS from my HDD, cbf to play around with mounting & virtual drives. I seriously dunno what to recommend other than (properly) reinstalling it.

Oh that happened to my friend and he told me pressed f11 or something, and after that he got something like repair option. :/ Hope this helps.
