If a fad is something that's popular, then yes, obviously. Since it's so popular, it's forever changing, so obviously in a few months it'll grow old. Not shit, though, that's why we get so hype when we revisit old music.

Call me a hipster idc. I AM a fan of Tyler but the rest don't really appeal to me. Don't get me wrong I like rap. But sometimes I just feel like nobody will ever make it like they used too. I mean do you see any of OF making albums in 5-10 years? I obviously don't.

Rap used to mean something. Now it's just gold mines for labels and all these new rappers become slaves to the industry for like 2 years tops then gets thrown out.

Rofl? You obviously don't know rap. Tyler just released 2 albums within a few years, Earl has one album released and one unreleased. Mellowhype has 2 albums out and one being released in 2012. So don't say shit. They're obviously going to make music since they're blowing up big.

Either way, it's been this way since 1996, when Pac and Big died. Everyone realized that they could get huge as fuck if they rapped, so everyone looked for a label.
