NightmareTX's DNF XP Hack

So I came across NightmareTX's DNF XP hack while ground through the 'Net to find one...

And I see it's now labeled as "Detected," even though it's barely a couple weeks old. And unfortunately, the thread's been closed.

So, two questions:

1) Does it even matter if this hack is detectable, since DNF is not VAC secure? Has anyone been VAC banned for using it?

2) In the event it is detectable and people have been banned—and maybe this question should be directed at NightmareTX?—does anyone have plans to release another version that'll hopefully be undetectable, even if only for a couple days before DNF gets patched? Preferably one that will unlock not only the digs, but also all the costume pieces? One that'll also fulfill all the challenges?
