    You get great benifits, also if you still choose to join the military, you don't start out entry level.

    Serve my country, see the world, learn some useful skills that can serve me in civilian life. Sure the pay is less then great but im not doing it for money. The way I see it is, you get free food, free education, and get paid for it.

    True. True. I heard American soldiers get stationed in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. It's basically a free vacation.

    I don't think rotc gets 2LT rank. Simply cus they have no real military training and are more like boyscouts.
