my homemade crossfire axe

so, i went out, bought some sheet metal for... something..... and i had some leftover, i made THIS outta what was left!

Ok, all the details

i used a metal wheel cutter [i don't know what it's called, but it hooks to an air compressor] to cut the "image" out, pain in the aºº. it took me about 3 hours to cut it all, then another hour to grind it all down with a bench grinder to smooth the edges and slightly sharpen the blade. the curve was a BIººH to cut, so right now it's kinda like a saw. i went through 3 blades cutting the axe out with the wheel thingy. then i used my sharpening stone [duel sided for machetes and such] to get the sharp edges to a fine blade sharpness, which took me about another hour.

if you're planning on making one, save up about 25-30 bucks for all materials needed.
you'll need ALOT of blades, so about 15 bucks there, the metal was about 11 bucks at menards, and it took ALOT of time and patience to cut it right, without fºººing it up.

OH, and you'll prolly need THICKER metal, so save up more, cuz this ones a little flimsy. :|

no, NOW im ready for that1 i used a sharpie to mark where the holes will be drilled, and where extra plating will go to make it more sturdy. im going out and buying 6 more sheets 12x18 [$20 each] and im going to triple the handle, double plate the part above the handle, and triple plate the blade so it won't bend at all. i have a cousin who's a blasksmith so he's gunna heat it all up and hammer it together. once i get money, this thing will be BEASTTT! then i might sell it for however much it costs me to build it, then a little extra for my time and effort. :3
