the reason cod fails, 1 nothing new, 2 noway in hell they get a new engine, 3 kids will buy it like allot of them instead of bf, 4 small maps ~bf has them but also big ones you choose.

i said bf3 and cod are uncomparable... i was wrong cod is an overpriced overrated failed not renewing game which will release cod MW4 in 2-3 years probably with like 15 dlc's at the price of 12.50/20 each.even the price will keep rising instead of getting lowered... only after 5 years the price will go down to 25/35 min.

also im still amused how BF2142 managed to be out of sale at the global scale/

Its safe to say that call of duty is the most overrated fps ever. Its basically a small closed in map with the same gameplay variants every release. Black ops downgraded the graphics, and MW2 on pc didn't even have dedicated servers.

Lets not forget that most definitions of noob gameplay like "noobtube" came from CoD, along with the millions of whiny lil kids complaining on OTHER games that its not like CoD..

by "gameplay" do you mean engine? or actual "gameplay"?
Because the engine is still the same as the one they had in cod4, just heavily updated. and no need to change engine when the one they have is so awesome and sells more then any other game.

If you mean gameplay, then thats not true. Black ops plays nothing like MW2.

I heard its still the same engine from the 2nd generation cod for the PC. which i actually can see... they only add more polygons to it and that's it. the effects are almost the same even the smoke while the cod was just twirling images moving in different directions i don't think that cod actually use particles for that in cod 4 it was still a rotating image.

BTW arent there like atleast 5-10 threads about this.

Still have to see CoD's fight against BF3 but BF3 is looking pretty amazing as it is right now.

Well as battlefield is a WIDE OPEN AREA, call of duty mostly has very closed in maps.

Its safe to say i won't even pick up MW3 this time. Its just not worth my money to spend on something inferior to counterstrike in everything except graphics.

I only liked MW1.

But man....i can just see whats gonna happen to bf3. Everyone is gonna jump ship from MW then they gonna complain about it ingame all the time.

So far the only thing i have noticed that was wrong in the beta:
1. I sometimes can't right click aim.
2. Sometimes i get stuck in movements, but its overall solid and fast.
3. The SV89 is a two shot BOLT ACTION. Hopefully they make it oneshot by release or i'll have to level snipers with my shotty/semi-auto instead.
4. Shotgun>your weapon at close-mid range. No one uses it though, so on defense i have a party with nails.
