Cod uses their oown engine, you use a engine with many wrappers. I wouldnt talk sht about games
Also the graphics capability of the engine is not utiliaed and the animations and textures could use improvekent

I said better than combat arms? I initial made this thread to get some feed back on what they think, wasn't really to insult the graphics to Combat Arms, Oviouslly CA has more guns more modes more of everything. I had to relate it somehow. Also its amazing what you can do with Unity3D.

Also COD may have made their own engine but my intentions were not to be the next cod? I was hoping to make a small free game that people would play. And see were it goes from there. You understand?

Yes this game looks nice. I just dont like it how people say that games suck or graphics etc suck when they dont realise how much time was put into them. Im working on my own directx9 game and ive been reading a 3d terrain book for weeks and still not half way done

Yeah i totally understand. I see your trying to run before you can walk.... I was hoping from making a feww FPS game with unity id get teh required knowledge to start my own game. Since CryEngine released a few shades

Nah im doing well Im struggling to understand texture mapping, because i know the coord system i just dont understand how on the top left corner ill put 0.0 0.0 and bottom right i put 1.0 1.0 on a quad and it wont show the whole tex...
