well from what i know from my personal expierences from learning coding with alot of help from from game deception and mombo*****.uk-(Steve's site),nixcoders .org(Linux crew) over the last 4-6 years ,MANY client hook are considered a form of spyware as they extract personal client info (Like Punkbuster) like hardware ID,GUIDS,IP ADDY'ect,So they can stop leaching of their product.
