Heading back to Afghanistan for a second time

Hey everyone. I was really excited to be able to start getting to know some of you here, but I got my orders today and will headed back to Afghanistan for my second tour of duty on Monday. Can't say I'm jumping with joy, and neither is my girlfriend, but that's my job. Internet is available but limited, so I'm not sure how much browsing on the forums I will be doing, but I will take some pictures and post them here for you all to see once in a while. I really love this place, and even though I don't know many of you yet, the few people I have talked to have been awesome, and I'm grateful that I found MPGH.

This WILL NOT be the last of me, and I will return after I get back home. Congratulations to @Dave84311 for reaching the 1 million mark, that's quite an achievement.

weird. my dad is leaving november 1st to honduras for 15 months.

he's doing humanitarian work and search and rescue missions.


but good luck to you mate, stay safe. my dad went to iraq for a year and came back without a scratch.
