1- Put the following file you downloaded from dave into your Combat Arms folder. : Instructions, Ending Banner, MCAPUBHACKNA.asi, and Settings


2- Your settings should be like this

i got Windows XP >.< AND now i just found out i cant find the settings,i put 1 on chams,wall hacks,and no recoil and i cant save cuz the comp cant find it!

hmm i have a different problem and i've been lurking around the forums to see if i can get an answer before i post something, i was about to make a thread and saw this one.


When i have all my files in my combat arms folder and the settings correct, i can't get past the launcher, sometimes hack shield will load sometimes it won't but for the most part it won't open up the game. i checked my process' to see what opened up while it tried to load, Engine.exe keeps closing after a few seconds, and every now and then drwtsn32.exe will explode across the process list for a second, not sure if thats exactly how its spelt though since i only see it for a flash. i followed the instructions in the HShield Changer thing as well. added an "update2" folder but i'm still unable to get the game launched. i also made sure i had d3dx9_39.dll and d3dx9_35.dll installed and i have .net FRAMEWORK 1.0 and 2.0
I'm an XP User if that means anything.


any suggestions?

Both of you. reinstall combat arms now. Saidei, if you ever want to play CA Again, REINSTALL ASAP!!!!


Saidei, you had the fatal bug. I had it once, fucked up my laptop forever. had to sell it to Best buy for 500 or so.. But if u reinstall it its gone. Follow daves instructions as careful as you can.
