So, since I suck so much at C4D tags and all that shit, I decided to do some smudging. And as always, I failed.
But Imma share the unfinished version just to see what you think. It's not done yet, so I want you guys to tell if I should scrap it or what should I do to it to finish it up.

Smudging is wayyyyy too soft. Smudge with a harder %, like 80-90. Also, smudge wilder, but make it flow still. Don't just make a line, and make it look like there's branches coming out. Also, the girl doesn't blend whatsoever. You have to make the smudges into a lighting source, and then blend your render in. The pink doesn't even match the blue o.o But I digress, I'm not the right person to talk about smudgin'.

Did all you do was smudge the background and then slap a render on with no blending?
I honestly think this has potential to be a pretty decent tag. sharpen up the smudging blend the render make it pop
