Tried reinstalling? When you uninstall crossfire at first, make sure you delete the remains of the crossfire folder located in C:\Program Files\Z8Games

...Just delete the entire Z8Games folder actually - instead of going in and deleting the crossfire folder and leaving Z8 folder unharmed.

Delete all the files in the Temp folder.
Remove any process .
Uninstall completely and delete some folders that are left.
Turn off Anti Virus.
Re Download and Re install.

Change The Location When You Re-install Try Other Disk , and use CCleaner

Are you using any hacks? Because something must be changing your hgwc file.
