I read them, many times. Trying new styles and those tut's helped

It's nice.
But as ^-- he said. Try using the smudge tool.
Get the normal "grunge" brush in photoshop, edit it. Add skatter, jitter, dual brussh (with a big brush(AKA WIDE)) and then smug the under layer.
the C4D layer/ CTRL J and overlay it. Use a large brushe about 300px, take away some of the overlay layer.

It's alright, I guess. The colors don't really blend as the render is just there and blue while the background is brownish-blue and the random C4D is white. But you'll get better over-time. Pinkie promise.
