i can't find the mw3 folder in my pc lol, where is it? what's it called

i'm like blind or something :O

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3

you first run pakscape ad administrator

then you click on file>open... and browse to your mw3 folder
(either in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\main on a 64bit machine or C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\main on a 32bit machine)

now next to the file name typebox, go to the dropdown(supported formats) and select "all files(*.*)"
iw00 and every other iwi will be visible. (each time you open the next iwi, you have to change to all files)

now a window will open within pakscape, and you want to click on the images folder.

Now, say we are in iw00, we right-click, copy all the files from the rar>iw00, and right-click, paste them within that window inside pakscape.

If you did that right, it should say do you want to replace file..., clicl yes to all

now you can either go to file>save, or click the floppy disk in pakscape to save the iwi that we modified.

now repeat this for iw01 through iw05, not forgetting to save, and boot up your game to see if all went well.

How to install :
-Use the packspace.exe executable.
-Go to open and then go to : .../steam/steamapps/common/call of duty mordern warfare 3/main
-In the text bar where you search for a file (near the extensions choiser) write down *.iwd
All iwds files will appear
-open the iwd00 and copy the files from the iwd folder downloaded ( hacked textures )
-Now save and do it for the 5 folders

And now, play ! =)

Good job.

I noticed some bugs. Delta Armor isnt textured and sniper camo appears in both green and red.

with this build I am aware that sas may have red body combinations, and delta may only have green heads. PMC is missing the "equipment" on their chests/midsections. I think I have made a fix for the delta green-heads only, uploading as soon as its verified to pass crc on public servers

I'm forced to create all simpers on each team one color in the next build... perhaps yellow or orange? (mw3 apparently shares fresnel and armor/gear in between axis and allies factions...I think that happened in mw2 as well..)

when i try to save it gives the error:"Error renaming D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\main\Pak2B99.tmp to D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 3\main\iw_00.iwd."
not a clue what i do wrong...

If the game is opened close it. If not , launch the .exe as administrator
