    @Alen, can i attach a gfx card that requires a 2.1 x16 interface to a mobo with a 2.0 x16 interface? cuz most high end gfx cards require 2.1 x16, but i didn't ding 1 mobo that has 2.1
    Get the best card you can afford.
    SLing two lower end cards is kinda useless.
    You won't get full performance of the two total cards.
    I should of went for a GTX 590 instead of GTX 580.
    My sister still owes me a GTX 580 so yeah.

    The only time you'll get close to using that much RAM is if you're rendering CGI based video's I agree, that much RAM is completely unnecessary.

    It's better to go with less quantity and more quality than vice versa.

    There's not really a 'better quality' with RAM.

    PCIe should be backward compatible, though some performance could be degraded. But, more importantly:

    The multi-GPU yield is often quite low (with two cards expect something like 70-90% at most) and hence it's usually better to get stronger, single cards. Hence why I suggested the two 6950s, them being almost as good as the 6980 (protip: unlock em) and quite a bit cheaper.

    1333MHz CL9 vs 1866MHz CL7. KKKKKKKK.

    How is that not really? Why the hell do you think ram prices for a stick can range from 20 bucks to 300? No range of quality?

    is this the best gfx card i can get for this price?
    EVGA 02G-P3-1469-KR GeForce GTX 560 Superclocked Video Card - 2GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), 2x Dual-Link DVI-I, Mini-HDMI, DirectX 11, Dual-Slot, SLI Ready, Overclocked at TigerDirec*****m

    or this one?
    EVGA 01G-P3-1567-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti DS Superclocked Video Card - 1GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), 2x Dual-Link DVI-I, Mini-HDMI 1.4a, DirectX 11, Dual-Slot, SLI Ready, Overclocked at TigerDirec*****m

    or this...
    https://www.tigerdirec*****m/applicati...308&CatId=3669

    i compared theme on a hardware site, and the 560 ti scored 200 points more than the 560, but their both overclocked, and the website didn't have those stats for overclocked ones

    cuz so far my total is $902 with this being the main purchase;
    MSI P67A-C43 B3 Intel Core i5 Barebones Kit - MSI P67A-C43 B3 Motherboard, Intel Core i5-2500K CPU, Corsair 4GB DDR3 RAM, Seagate 1TB LP HDD, Thermaltake V3 BE Mid-Tower, DiabloTek 600W Power Supply at TigerDirec*****m

    cuz right now i only have a 300w PSU, with a micro mobo, so i basically have to get a new computer...

    i don't really wanna go above $930 now, but i think thats the best gfx card i can get for that amount

    The 560 Ti is basically a boosted 560, if they're priced the same, get it. Unless you're aiming at doing CPU-intensive stuff I recommend you hop over to an AMD base.

    The 560ti is better than the 560, so go for the ti. Other than that I think you'll be happy with your build. You want 6 or 8 gb of ram, not four. Try finding two 500gb hd's and run them in raid 0 if you only want 1tb of storage, it'll give you better performance. I'm not sure about that PSU brand in the bundle, I've never heard of it.

    If you're American you can always go to Slickdeals: The Best Deals, Coupons & Discounts on Laptops, Computers, LCDs, TVs, Dell, HP, Apple, Amazon and find each component you want separately which may end up being cheaper than that bundle. Also you could wait for blackfriday/cybermonday to see if prices drop even more.

    yeah imma get 8 gb ram, i didn't include it in the above post cuz it wasn't the main thing i was gonna buy, but as for the gfx card;
    the 560 i posted was superclocked to 1gb ram, then there was a overclocked 560 ti (higher specs besides video ram, had 1gb) then the third gfx card, another 560 ti overclocked has better stats than the 2nd one, but still doesn't have as much video ram.

    So you said get the 560 ti, but which one?
    and does video ram matter?
    or not in this case, since the specs are so much different from the first one and the third card?

    It does matter, but not too much.
    Because even if you don't have enough, you always have shared memory as well, not only your dedicated VRAM.
