Text based game hacks

Pretty sure this might have went into the wrong thread. My bad on that one.

From what I have gathered it is a texted based game. The most valible thing being points. Theres a 50/50 game that you can put your points on and I am positive someone will be able to help me with atleast makeing it too allow me to win more offten or what not. the game is based on the life of a prisoner and his struggles in prison. dont know if I can say the name or not dont want a ban on my first post. This is all the information that I think you would need really any help would be great I am pretty sure there are already people hacking it. Thank you.

Just use cheat engine, do a 2 or 4 byte scan for your amount of points, get 1 or more points, do another scan for that amount, then if you get that exact value left, change it to the amount of points you want, if not repeat steps 2 and 3. The thanks button is always nice

So after using the great tool of google I found loads of places to get Cheat Engine but I wanted to see what the lastest version was beofore I started downloading old ones and what not. Also whats the best place to download it from I am in Japan on a military base so my Download times are rather slow thats why I am asking.

you can also use Cheat Engine on windows pinball for practice to change score, or for shits and giggles speed up the game or slow it down.

most textbased games carnt be hacked using cheat engine.
anyway the ones that can the best tool is some firefox addon that checks all the data u send and recive when loading webpages.

but as i said this is highly unlikley to work most games display a dont cheat message.

Yea stats are defenitely servert sided, and that addon for firefox is called data-tamper and its awesome
