    Is there a way to make a pentool tag without the lines looking choppy and shit?

    What's that got to do with pentooling skills? I make a simple fucking line and it becomes choppy

    K, I took your ****** ass off ignore for a min to see if I can help.

    It could be a number of reasons why your shit is coming out choppy.
    Something may be forcing the vector elements to rasterize.
    Could be if your using certain blending options, or filters.
    Also, too many layer adjustments will make pentool look choppy as well.
    ie; overuse of gradients, Vibrance, exposure,contrast etc,etc
    Best results for vectoring are always produced with Illustrator because it's not a pixel based program,
    but you can even compromise the integrity of that quality by not exporting/saving in the right format.
    If you're usung vector elements in PS just be careful how you use your adjustment layers..
    Also, make sure your dpi isn't any lower than 72 before you start a project.

    Also make sure you're creating paths with anchor points. Not freeform.

    Jimmy's helped. I had my pentool shapes filled with gradient maps and photo filters...

    Im sort of a ******.

    I can appreciate illy for its awesomeness, but fuck if I can figure it out. Ive downloaded it like 5 times, messed with it for like 20 minutes then I uninstall in frustration.

    ^Done this a couple of times myself but I got the hang of it after a while. Its just like trying to work with Maya, a clutterfuck of tools that you don't understand ;-;
