ogame - anyone here play it?

It's like "eve online", just it's a web-based game with no graphics.


You start off building your planet up and mining resources, eventually you'll have some spaceships and stuff. Then you can try to attack other people's planets. Some day when you're powerful enough you'll have an entire fleet and a death star thing and take over other planets, etc.

It's a nice little time-killer. I leave it running building stuff while I'm playing other 3d games.

If anyone here is interested, I'm on universe 9 and my username is "SpaceCowboy". My homeplanet is called "Korriban".


I just started playing 2 days ago but I have a lot of things built-up, maybe we can start a mpgh alliance or something.

looks pretty nice. i used to play a game like that aswell. i was "testing" the browser Opera at that time. and when i signed on with opera and i did some researches they all completed in a seconds. then i got a message i was caught cheating.. and i got banned.

thats when i stopped browser based RPG's

I play it on Universe 1 and 3. I got an ok fleet on each server, but I have DeathStars in Universe 3

On a side note, you cannot take over planets, 9 is max.

The bastard forgot to delete his other account when I gave him a new one lol.

Well general advice is never leave to much resources on a planet, fleetsave and don't piss people off .
If you tell me your style of play I can give you better advice.

but do someone knows how to hack the ogame?i know a person that get 300,000 in one day, how can i do that? do anyone knows?

Its like you have an empire, you research different technologies to gain different types of structures, ships and defense. You also can colonize planets in different parts of the Universe to increase resources production and have different places you can launch your ships from. When you attack someone, you just take a certain % of resources off their planet. You cannot destroy planets though.
