How to get unbanned from servers

Please excuse my awful English, I'm not American so I'm going to do this to the best of my abilities.

This will involve changing your router's IP address, doing so can and will affect your router positively and/or negatively.

1; Enter into your browser your default gateway (192.168.1.1) and click basic settings. <----This is for Netgear

2; Select Use Static IP Address and change the lest number on the IP address line to anything from 1 to 254

3; Click Apply and you're done.

If anyone else on your network has issues with connecting to the internet try changing the DNS to
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
Which is Google's DNS

Once your IP is changed you will need to then go into SA-MP and change your nickname, or the ban will still be listed when you join. I apologies that only a tutorial for Netgear is here, but I don't have Linksys or any other service provider.
