Some states may or may not have a certain rule on pollution, some state senators or Governors could be bribed to look the other way. Not to mention if state levels of pollution are higher than national levels, it may contribute to Global Warming (which he believes isn't man made). He believes any wrongdoing by a company to a citizen via pollution is a civil matter and should be handled in a free market manner (ie courts). The way I see it, it will do you real good if you are dead, good luck.

To me, the whole Austrian Economics theory is wack. Going back to the gold standard would be regressive. I've mostly forgot most of his and the Austrian schools of economics views, but I'm sure I posted it here before. Some of my views may have changed, but I still prefer the Keynesian School, as it resonated more with me when I was learning about Economics.

If we had a gold standerd we would be able to curb goverment spending, and eventually fix all inflation. This wouldn't happen over night though, but for now we should be allowed to trade in gold and silver like the constitution says. Let me ask you something. Would you rather have a stack of 100 dollar bills, or it's value in gold? I'd bet anything that you'd put your money on the gold before any currency. The effects of a central bank with the abbility to print money has caused our dollar to lose most of it's original value (almost all if you look at the begining). They can just print money that we havn't the gold to back. There are huge flaws with paper currency, and in combination with a central bank(with a printing press) can be devistating to an economy.

The only thing that would be better then that would be to end all our wars. Which is something I believe Ron Paul would do if elected. The man is a 10 time congressman and has a literally perfect voting record as far as voting the way he tells voters he's going to. And his approach is always consistaint.

So bias. Ron Paul has ran 3rd party before, but we all know how 3rd part canidates do in fund raising & polls. He's actually refered to the Republican party as a "vehicle". There's a term, blue republican.

Obama bombed Irag, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Libya during his predidency so far. All without congressional approval, or a declaration of war. He bombed Libya without even consulting the congress... That's abusing his War Powers. Obama believes because Libya isn't firing back that it does not count as a war. So, according to him, it's okay to bomb people without congressional approval as long as they don't fight back. That's the /fp

Lets look at what socalism is. It's a big-government philosophy that uses wealth redistribution to fund a massive nanny state of cradle-to-grave entitlements. Socialism provides entitlements through massive taxation, and also believes that heavy government regulation leads to a better society. It does all this in the name of "social justice."

Obama will raise taxes for the explicit purpose of taking better care of the lower and middle classes with that redistributed money.

Obama care is socializing medicine, If you want me to explain to you why this (or anything I'm saying) is bad I will.

Obama’s welfare spending reached $888 billion in a single fiscal year, 2010. That's more then the Bush administration spent on the entire Iraq war from "shock and awe" in 2003 until he left office.
