ha, well again i didnt get banned, no idea why. Moneys still there as well.

Not sure if bans are random or what, but from what I have seen, anyone who used their "ill-gotten gains" to purchase items got a ban! Within my guild several people were buying equipment, another bought dyes for some of his gear, they got their characters locked....they can still log onto alts, so dunno if its permanent, but the chars they used to "exploit" and purchased items with...frozen! Another friend used a bot to do this, mailed all the gold over to her main....bot was locked, but all her other alt accounts are untouched, and all the gold mailed to her main is STILL THERE!

Me, I wasn't smart enough to use my bot account (stupid me) and just used my main for a few hours! Gold rolled back 30m (all the rest of the money I had prior to this was untouched) and no ban or lock at all!

Just a guess, but it seems like anybody who either purchased items with said free gold, or mailed it off to other chars, have had those chars locked! I have not yet heard of anybody getting IP banned yet, seems like just character locks, and only for peeps who did something with the gold! So I'm guessing that this is all temporary....30 day character lock, or mebbe they're just waiting to decide what to do with those people that spent the exploited gold....but if all these people can still log onto alts, then I am assuming that nothing further will come of this. No permanent IP bans (we can all hope)

Chalk this one up to experience....although it sucks, this is what should have been expected from this whole fiasco! I was fully prepared for a ban that I did not get, that's the risk I took! That's just how it is!
