Depending on what kind of God you're believing in. If that God teaches good Morals, then I agree. But when you have God's that tell you to smite the innocent because they don't believe, that's where it goes downhill. Either way, an ambient song opens my mind to the answers to whatever problems I am having much more efficiently than some manuscript

exactly some of the reasons i wouldn't follow normal religions is because they would more likely (im speaking of Christianity here but this is applicable to others) would want you to believe in Christ rather than follow in his ways...

Very true, I believe in the Morals taught by him though, as for my choices on this Planet I leave to Music to influence them
